The digital trend that changed fashion forever

He went to design school in New York, where he worked with designers from a variety of different fields, including the fashion industry, fashion magazines and online fashion.
“My first design project was for the magazine ‘Hood’, which was in a print edition, and I got to work with designers such as Hedi Slimane, Aida Ayaz, Nadeem Nasser and others,” he said.
“It was a beautiful project.
They were doing a very bold print on a very traditional design, and they had a great sense of humour.
I always wanted to work in print, but I had to give it up because the industry is so saturated.”
In 2012, Anish started designing for print in the fashion magazine ‘Beside’, and his work in this publication helped him establish himself as a well-respected designer in the print space.
He joined Zara, the brand that had taken him to the top of the fashion world.
Anish had the opportunity to work on many campaigns with many of the brands he worked for and he was inspired to create his own collection of clothes.
He started using fabrics from his collection in his own designs, and then worked on the designs that would ultimately be the basis for the collections that would become his collection, Zara.
He was also the designer for a fashion show at London Fashion Week.
“I always loved the idea of doing something that wasn’t just for me, but for the whole world,” he explained.
It was really exciting to be part of this new movement of fashion, and it was a big opportunity to make the world more connected. “
The idea was that I would put together a collection of 100 different pieces, which I’d then make into pieces that were available online, or I’d send them to a select group of people and make them my own.

His work was not only on Zara but also on fashion magazines such as Elle UK, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Marie Claire, and others.
“With my work on fashion, I feel I have a unique ability to look at a new trend and create something that is completely unique to me,” he added.
“That has always been the most important thing to me, and that has made me a very creative person.
He is currently working on a series of prints that will be featured in the new collection of Zara by Vogue and Elle. “
To me, the best fashion is something that’s timeless and unique, and this has always appealed to me.”

He has been a designer at various times and has designed clothing for brands such as Puma, Calvin Klein, H&M, Zappos, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Fisher, Calvin Alexander, and many others.
Anishe Mahan was born and raised in Mumbai.
He graduated from M.N. Balasubramanian Fashion Institute, Mumbai University, and has been working in the industry since 2004.
His work has been featured on various fashion shows across India and has also been featured in publications such as ‘New York Magazine’, ‘Vogue’ and ‘Degree’.
He is the founder and CEO of Anisha Design, which is a leading fashion designer agency.
He is a member of the Fashion Institute of India (FII) and the National Fashion Design Foundation (NFDF).
He is also a member and board member of Fashion Design Society of India.
