‘I’m going to get a little bit of a kick out of this’: Former Trump campaign advisor and now Breitbart News writer David Plouffe talks about his trip to Iowa to campaign for Hillary Clinton and to discuss his upcoming book, ‘The Trump Files.’
David Plougke, the former Trump campaign adviser who worked for President Donald Trump, told Breitbart News on Friday that he will be spending the next few weeks on a road trip to support Hillary Clinton.
He said he will not be participating in the Democratic National Convention, but he is excited to be traveling the country in support of the former secretary of state.
Plouke, who worked with Trump at the Trump campaign’s Iowa office, will be on a bus with his wife, Kelly, and daughter-in-law, Ann, from Des Moines to Iowa City.
Plougkes wife, Jennifer, said she was excited to get out of the state and to go out and meet people, and that she hoped that they will see the difference he made to the world.
“He changed the world, I’m excited to see how he does it in the future,” Ploukes wife said.
“I’m just going to do what he did.
He changed the worlds, he changed everything.
He made it possible for women to be equal, he made it available for them to vote, he’s been great for the economy.”
Plouge also said that he is hopeful that people will not forget the 2016 election and the election results that were handed to the American people.
“We’re going to have to put it behind us and we’re going the way that we’ve always been, we’re not going to change, we won’t do anything to change it, we have a choice, we can continue to be Trump supporters, we’ve been Trump voters, we want to be Republicans, we just want to vote for Trump, he said.
Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said on Friday he would be traveling with his family to Iowa for the first time. “
People were not expecting it, he got a lot of attention, and people were not going along with it,” Plougkee said.
Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said on Friday he would be traveling with his family to Iowa for the first time.
“It’s going to be a long road,” Lewandowski told Breitbart.
“But I am excited to come home to my family and we are going to spend time with my family.
I think that people are going, oh, they just lost an election, we didn’t win, we don’t know what the hell’s going on.
That’s not what we’ve done, we know what we did well.
We’re going down to the state to try and help.”
He added that he believed that the voters will be “disappointed” by Trump’s election, but they will continue to follow the results of the election.
Lewandowski’s wife, Jill, added that her husband and her husband-to-be, Melania Trump, are both “optimistic” about the future of the Republican Party.
“They have a good sense of where they’re going, and they are hopeful,” she said.
